What You Need to Know
Math Lab will offer students some extra help in their math classes. We will pre-teach concepts for their grade level math class. Math Lab will not have assigned homework, but is also not a study hall. We will not be working on homework from math class during Math Lab. Instead, we will be applying math to real-world tasks using problem-solving skills.
What You Need to Know
Students will track their progress and set goals for themselves throughout the school year. One of the biggest expectations I have for my students is that they work on being the best version of themselves not only academically but personally as well.
ESL Study Skills
Through the use of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Read 180 program, English language learners will practice and cultivate their language skills. Each day, students will rotate between small group learning, student application, and independent reading.
